The design of Observer-S is created by taking into account various operating conditions, the wing of greater elongation has a carbon fiber composite spar and allows it to operate UAVs at a wide range of speeds. Thanks to the modular design, when the device is damaged in combat, its repair is carried out in a short time by replacing the failed elements.
Drive – collectorless synchronous motor. The electric motor and onboard equipment are powered by high-capacity lithium-polymer batteries (16 A / h).
UAV has a high level of mobility – the whole set can fit in the cabin of an SUV. In conditions of extreme situations and relief (mountainous and forested areas), the complex is transported by a group of four people. Low mass combined with high flight performance is an obvious advantage of UAVs. When it is in the transportation form, the complex has three containers (2 transport boxes 1700 x 400 x 500 mm, 1 case of ground control station (1200 x 250 x 500). The total volume of the set in the transportation state does not exceed 1 m3.

Observer – S UAV control system is equipped with a receiver, triaxial gyroscope, triaxial accelerometer, airspeed sensor, and air pressure sensor. The UAV Observer – S transmits all the necessary flight information to the ground control station in real-time. You can also change the flight route in real-time. It supports the flight mode of the set point in a circle with a given radius, if the UAV loses communication, it automatically returns to the start location.
It is possible to replace the payload with:

UAV Observer-S was tested at the State Research and Testing Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and received a conclusion on compliance with the specified requirements for UAV class – mini (tactical unit). As part of the tests, the Observer-S UAV also confirmed its ability to perform a flight task in the conditions of using a complex of radio interference (suppression of GSM, GPS, GLONASS signals).
